"BEAUTY FREAK" Begins Workshop at A.R.T./New York

After being selected as a recipient of the A.R.T./New York Creative Space Grant, “Beauty Freak” this weekend enjoyed the first of a two-part workshop at A.R.T. spaces. “Beauty Freak,” a historical multi-media play about legendary and controversial German filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl, was researched at the Imperial War Museum and BFI archives in London, and the ​Museum für Fotografie and Film University Babelsberg​ in Berlin, and developed at the ​Berliner Schule Für Schauspiel. A subsequent workshop presentation was produced by WWTNS? at the Plaxall Gallery in New York 2018 in association with LIC-Artists. This workshop will culminate in a private reading at A.R.T. in April.
