"BEAUTY FREAK" Begins Workshop at A.R.T./New York
After being selected as a recipient of the A.R.T./New York Creative Space Grant, “Beauty Freak” this weekend enjoyed the first of a two-part workshop at A.R.T. spaces. “Beauty Freak,” a historical multi-media play about legendary and controversial German filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl, was researched at the Imperial War Museum and BFI archives in London, and the Museum für Fotografie and Film University Babelsberg in Berlin, and developed at the Berliner Schule Für Schauspiel. A subsequent workshop presentation was produced by WWTNS? at the Plaxall Gallery in New York 2018 in association with LIC-Artists. This workshop will culminate in a private reading at A.R.T. in April.
