"Beauty Freak" Reading to be presented by the BorderLight Festival

James Clements’ “Beauty Freak” has been curated to be streamed as a digital reading as part of the 2021 BorderLight Festival in Cleveland, Ohio. The piece, which is being produced by What Will the Neighbors Say? with the support of an A.R.T./New York Creative Space Grant and an Indie Theatre Fund Urgency Grant, will be directed by Clements, filmed by Pablo Caldéron Santiago and feature Ana Cristina DaSilva, Sam Hood Adrain, Derya Celikkol, Beatriz Miranda, Thalia Romina and Abram Blau. “Beauty Freak” will be presented in rep with DaSilva’s “The Chickens Have Come Home to Roost,” in which Clements will also perform.
