James Clements and Doireann Mac Mahon's "Ellis Island" Curated by Rattlestick

“Ellis Island,” a new play written by James Clements and Doireann Mac Mahon, was commissioned by Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre and the New York Theatre Salon for their 2021 Global Forms Theatre Festival, and will be streamed through the festival’s website on Wednesday June 2nd at 7.30pm, Friday June 4th at 2.30pm and Tuesday June 8th at 2.30pm. The piece, which Clements and Mac Mahon also perform, asks prescient questions about belonging, prejudice and what makes our sense of identity.
