James Clements and Pablo Calderón-Santiago launch View Points Photography with City Artist Corps Grant

Following his City Artist Corps Grant for the upcoming screening of “Ellis Island” at the Queens Theatre, James Clements and his creative partner Pablo Calderón-Santiago have received a further $5,000 grant through the City Artist Corps Grants program, presented by the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA), with support from the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) as well as Queens Theatre to launch View Points Photography. The company is a Brooklyn-based photography and content creation company that radically centers the client in the creative process. Founded in 2021 by Clements and Calderón-Santiago, View Points Photography creates images that are original, authentic and unexpected for clients across a range of disciplines. The company was launched with a free event held at the Living Gallery, “Faces of Brooklyn,” in which anyone could come in for a free professional portrait. A day of community healing and celebration, the event was covered in Art Cards and in the Brooklyn Paper, amoungst others.
